Course overview

Most safety training is delivered because the matrix requires it, to people who already know the content and sign the register anyway. This course covers training that changes what happens on site.

What you will be able to do
  • Establish what the training actually needs to change
  • Design sessions around the task, not the regulation
  • Run a toolbox talk that produces discussion
  • Handle low literacy and multiple languages
  • Check understanding rather than attendance
  • Keep records that satisfy an inspector
Who should attend
  • Safety officers and practitioners
  • Supervisors delivering toolbox talks
  • Training coordinators in industrial settings
  • Contractor safety representatives
