This course develops competence in antimicrobial susceptibility testing methods and the interpretation of results. Delegates practise disk diffusion and dilution techniques and learn how to apply recognised interpretive standards. The programme also addresses quality control strains and the reporting of resistance patterns to support treatment decisions.
